Elaine Turner Premiers Southern Charm Bar
If you aren't familiar with Tidbits Houston or Elaine Turner, you don't know what you're missing! But that's why you're here, so I'll tell you!
Tidbits Houston invited us out for an evening at a few different Elaine Turner locations. Each event was held at the same time but in different parts of Houston, so there was no excuse to not show up to the store closest to you! The stores each brought in a local blogger to host a night full of champagne, cocktails (Deep Eddy, yes!), and light bites, including the most delicious pink velvet cupcakes I've had. You can also read my recipe for pink velvet cake pops here!
I sucked it up and drove through rush-hour traffic through the Galleria to attend Elaine Turner in BLVD Place, hosted Elly Brown from UptownWithEllyBrown. We browsed through Elaine's designs, oo-ed and ah-ed at all of her gold and snakeskin prints, and chatted with Elaine herself. I can't say it enough, I love meeting driven, hard-working, inspiration women who are the definition of a go-getter!
Elaine's new Southern Charm Bar pieces glistened next to the register, and they feature some super cute charms that would make a great gift, or for yourself. Jewels include smoky topaz to amethyst, simple and more "out there": charms, and a few inspirational pieces as well. The charms can be added to Elaine's gold chains which come in 18" and 22" size. The best part about Elaine's new launch is that she donates 15 percent of all proceeds to two charities each year. This year, the proceeds are going to a Houston-based charity: Autism Rescue Angels, which Elaine helped found herself.
If you're thinking about joining Houston Tidbits next year, do it! Not only are the perks incredible (this year was a complimentary Elaine Turner bag, a free Soul Cycle Class, Uchi gift card, and more), you'll get tons of opportunities to attend great events throughout the year in Houston.
Tidbits will be opening registration for a second round next month, so get on the waitlist here and keep an eye out!
If you're looking for a new summer bag, wallet, or pair of shoes, pop over to any of Elaine's nine locations and look around! My favorite pieces are her card holders and wedges. I'm a sucker for a good card holder, and it's hard to find one with enough slots for us women -- Most men's card holders only have about 4 slots, but Elaine has the hook-up with slots on both sides! I may have to go back and grab the snakeskin one.
