So, I can't lie. I feel a little Myspace era/away message circa 2004 doing this tag, but I figured it would be a great way for current and new readers to get to know me a little better!
I've been thinking a lot lately about how it can be easy to get lost in the online "version of ourself". In a world where the majority of our tasks are done online and we have a profile for ourselves everywhere you look, it's easy to lose your voice. I could go on for days about how strongly I feel about being the same version of ourself both on and off-line. I don't want to read your blog, watch your videos, or read your comments online somewhere then meet in-person to find out you're a total witch. Trust me, it happens all the time.
If we're going to be multi-present online, let's simply use it as a way to get our name and our voice out there. Stay true to who you are, incorporate your voice into your writing, your videos, and throughout your content in general.
Any who, here are a few G-rated questions to bring you back to the Myspace days!

Any who, here are a few G-rated questions to bring you back to the Myspace days!
1. Are you named after anyone? Nope.
2. When was the last time you cried? Probably 2 days ago? Not sure. I cry all the time over the silliest things - I cry over commercials, TV shows, books, Facebook statuses, graduation photos, you name it.
3. Do you have kids? Not right now!
4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Hell yes.
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes!
6. Will you ever bungee-jump? I'd love to.
7. What’s your favorite cereal? Don't make me pick one! Cereal is my weakness, especially at midnight. Why is it that cereal is so much better in the middle of the night after your stomach has had a full day of food? If I had to pick one, I'd say Frosted Mini Wheats. But I love me some Lucky Charms, Captain Crunch, Special K, Cocoa Puffs, and even Smart Start.
8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Physically, their eyes. I also notice mannerisms very quickly as well. Are you making eye contact with me? Are you awkwardly fidgeting your left foot? Are your arms crossed? Checking your phone every 2 seconds?
9. What is your eye colour? Green.
10. Scary movie or happy endings? Happy endings. I think most scary movies are BS.
11. Favorite smells? Vanilla, Amber, Flowerbomb, Musk, Chi Silk Infusion.
12. Summer or winter? Summer, but not Houston summer. More like LA summer.
13. Computer or television? Computer. I'm lame when it comes to keeping up with TV shows.
14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? I want to say Costa Rica, but I think NYC might be farther from my home base!
15. Do you have any special talents? I'm like a spy and can find anything out. I mean, anything. I think that's with most women, but I like to think of myself as Hariet the Spy.
16. Where were you born? NYC
17. What are your hobbies? Eating at (new) restaurants, traveling, attending concerts, binge-watching funny YouTube videos with my boyfriend, long talks and wine nights with girlfriends, working out, and blogging.
18. Do you have any pets? Yes, and I'm obsessed with my pups.
19. Favorite movie? The Holiday. And it doesn't need to be Christmas for me to watch!
20. Do you have any siblings? Yes, and she still steals my clothes all the time. Hey Syd.
21. What do you want to be when you grow up? Somehow I thought I'd have an answer for this by now, but I've found that we always think we're "grown up" when we are still in a huge transition phase. In the future I hope to be doing something that brings me joy, not dreading Mondays, successful, comfortable, financially stable, and surrounded by positive people who love me!
